Climate change is already provoking more frequent and extreme meteorological phenome-na that may demand urgent and extraordinary measures from governments. Governments may also justify the need of tough measures to mitigate or adapt to substantial changes in ecosystems in the mid-long run. All these extraordinary measures may stress the rule of law in many countries. In this context, this seminar is dedicated to discussing the impact of climate change on our present understanding of law.
