#DEIUSS 2026 Art Competition – Inspiring Inclusion Through Art

The IUSS School for Advanced Studies Pavia invites the AlumnIUSS community to take part in the #DEIUSS Art Competition, promoted by the IUSS Equal Opportunities Committee (CUG).

The competition celebrates art as a powerful tool for social change and for fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion.

The competition is open to all IUSS alumni and PhD graduates/students who are members of the AlumnIUSS community. Participants may submit one of the following:

• 📸 Photograph
• 🎨 Painting
• ✍️ Short story
• 🎥 Short video

Submissions should explore one or more of the following themes:

• promoting diversity and inclusion in academic and workplace environments;
• combating discrimination and violence;
• celebrating equality and equal opportunities.

By taking part, participants will have the chance to win a €1,500 award, to be used for educational and training purposes, and to see their artwork showcased during a dedicated exhibition event at IUSS.

Selected artworks will be showcased during a dedicated event at IUSS, giving participants the opportunity to share their creative vision with the wider academic community.
