On November 13, the first edition of the initiative IUSS Call for Ideas 2025 will reach its conclusion with a final pitching event, hosted at the Venice International University (VIU). The event will feature the 10 finalist teams presenting their entrepreneurial ideas in front of a panel of investors and innovation experts.

Thanks to this initiative, promoted by the IUSS School of Advanced Studies in collaboration with the Educating Future Citizens (EFC) network partners, all participating young researchers had the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills through a dedicated series of entrepreneurial workshops and to develop their ideas under the guidance of experienced mentors.

The final 10 selected ideas reflect the IUSS School and EFC’s commitment to actively contribute to sustainability, innovation, and social impact, turning academic knowledge into tangible solutions that address real-world challenges in Energy & Sustainability, Space, and Creative Industries.

The event is open to anyone interested in discovering how research can be transformed into high-impact entrepreneurial ventures. You will meet venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, and experts in the field of innovation, all under one roof, for an exciting day of inspiration and networking.

The winners will experience a five-day immersive journey in Silicon Valley, in collaboration with the Silicon Valley Fellowship network!
