Francesco Di Betta, a PhD candidate at IUSS and member of the FIS 2 project “Severe Uncertainty: Decisions, Evidence and Probability”, has been awarded the Early Scholar Prize by the European Society for Analytic Philosophy.
His paper, “Probability, Normality, and Learning from Experience”, was recognized as the best contribution submitted by a doctoral researcher to the European Congress for Analytic Philosophy (ECAP12) in the Epistemology category.
As part of the award, Francesco has been invited to present his work at the Society’s upcoming conference, which will take place in Madrid from 24 to 28 August 2026.
