Giuseppe Conti appointed National Coordinator of the CODAU Research and Technology Transfer Working Group
Giuseppe Conti, Director General of the IUSS School for Advanced Studies Pavia and President of Netval, has been appointed National Coordinator of the Research and Technology Transfer Working Group of CODAU (Conference of the Directors General of Italian University Administrations) for the 2027–2029 term.
The appointment follows the renewal of CODAU's governing bodies for the 2026–2029 mandate, with Vincenzo Tedesco, Director General of the Politecnico di Torino, elected President, supported by Lucia Colitti, Director General of the University of Rome "Foro Italico", as Deputy Vice President, and Pietro Di Benedetto, Director General of the University of L'Aquila, as Vice President.
Conti's appointment recognizes his extensive experience in research governance, technology transfer, and innovation policies. In his new role, he will coordinate the Working Group's activities, fostering collaboration among Italian universities on research management, technology transfer, intellectual property valorization, innovation, and engagement with industry.
The CODAU Research and Technology Transfer Working Group serves as a national forum for sharing best practices and developing common strategies to strengthen the impact of university research, promote innovation, and enhance collaboration between academia, institutions, and industry.
