The call for applications is officially open for the III edition of the Master KEI – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY VALORISATION FOR KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE & IMPACT at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, in collaboration with the Netval Association and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made In Italy (MIMIT-UIBM). This new edition signifies the success and impact generated by the two previous editions.
This ambitious program promises to provide advanced knowledge and managerial skills in the field of intellectual property and technology transfer, meeting the growing demand for professionals in these crucial areas.
The Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy supports the top 20 ranked candidates with funding covering 60% of student contribution fees. This initiative aims to facilitate access to an educational path that proves to be essential for the national landscape.
The current context sees the management of intellectual property and technology transfer playing an increasingly strategic role in universities, research institutes, and companies with growth potential. The Master KEI arises from the need to train professionals capable of effectively managing these aspects, meeting the demands of the job market, and contributing to the development of innovation.
The Master's program aims to train participants not only on the theoretical side but also on the practical side, providing essential managerial skills. Among the main objectives are the generation of innovations, the protection of inventions, and the creation of research-based companies. Attention is also given to the management of impact valorization dynamics, activities increasingly in demand at the national and international levels.
The educational path, lasting 15 months, is divided into 15 modules with a weekend formula (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday), offering flexibility for those who work or have other commitments. Classes will begin on April 18, 2024.
The deadline for submitting applications is February 28, 2024, at 1:00 PM.
The Master is open to a wide range of professionals, including officials and executives responsible for technology transfer and public engagement activities, public administration officials and executives, innovation and third mission professionals, as well as Innovation Managers from private companies.
A distinctive feature of the Master is collaboration with various academic institutions, including the University of Pavia, the IUSS Pavia University School for Advanced Studies, the University of Camerino, the University of Bari, the University of Cagliari, the Polytechnic University of Turin, the University of Padua, and the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa.
