The European IMMERGE project, under the framework of the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Doctoral Networks, organizes three days of advanced training dedicated to Doctoral Candidates (DCs).
The programme features thematic workshops, scientific sessions, hands-on laboratory activities, and networking opportunities, with a focus on:
- Gene Editing Technologies (GET)
- Innovation, Transfer & Entrepreneurship (ITE)
This event offers a unique opportunity for PhD students to engage with international experts, develop practical skills, and gain insight into technology transfer and the real-world impact of scientific research.
Scientific Lead & Organizer: Raffaella Di Micco
Raffaella Di Micco, PhD – Associate Professor at IUSS Pavia and Group Leader at SR-TIGET, Milan – coordinates the scientific programme of the event. With an outstanding career in advanced therapies and genetic engineering, she leads the SR-TIGET research group, a world-leading center for gene therapy. Her expertise and scientific leadership ensure a rigorous, innovative programme with a strong focus on the practical applications and societal impact of research.
