On Tuesday 18th June at 12 noon at Cascina Maestà (Strada alla Cascina Maestà 485, Pavia) the FLexible biOeletronics and Wearable devices Laboratory - FLOWLAB, the new experimental facility at IUSS, will be inaugurated.
FLOW LAB's research is based on 20 years of experience in flexible electronics and bioelectronics. Their investigations span the dynamic landscape of wearable health technologies, and their work is supported by a wealth of publications elucidating discoveries in organic semiconductor devices and wearable sensor technologies.
Their research breaks new ground, exploring innovative fabrication processes and the integration of flexible electronic devices for biomedical applications. The team's efforts are focused on the practical implementation of these technologies, with a particular emphasis on organic semiconductor sensors, which offer unprecedented opportunities in healthcare diagnostics.
In addition to wearable technologies, the lab's efforts extend to the broad field of flexible bioelectronics, addressing challenges in the development of advanced sensors and biosensors. FLOW LAB's collaborative and interdisciplinary approach ensures a holistic exploration of topics ranging from flexible electronic materials to the integration of these devices into real-world applications, thereby increasing the impact of its research.
By venturing into the convergence of electronics and biology, FLOW LAB continues to push the boundaries of innovation. Ongoing projects are poised to transform the healthcare technology landscape, offering solutions that are not only revolutionary, but also adaptable and responsive to the evolving needs of the biomedical field.
The opening will be an opportunity to visit and discover the potential of the new laboratory and its future developments in the world of flexible bioelectronics and wearable health technologies.
