Description:
The launch event of Knowledge Share 2.0 aims to introduce the new Knowledge Share 2.0 platform. The event, scheduled for Tuesday, January 23, 2024, at the headquarters of the CNR – National Research Council in Rome (RM), will delve into the new features and content, with a particular focus on the spin-off section – a highly prominent implementation for the current innovation landscape. The initiative, with a strong institutional character, will be open to the public, held in person, free of charge, and will last for a single day.
The event is intended for all parties interested in Innovation and Technology Transfer, both from the perspective of public research (Universities, Research Centers, and IRCCS) and from the perspective of the business sector (SMEs, large enterprises, investors, etc.) in Italy.
Knowledge Share is a joint project of the Netval Association, the Ministry of Enterprises, and Made In Italy – Patents and Trademarks Office (MIMIT – UIBM) and Politecnico di Torino. It aims to be the meeting point for Italian businesses with knowledge developed by university research and Research Centers, which can be practically applied. The project is funded within the NATIONAL RECOVERY AND RESILIENCE PLAN (NEXTGENERATIONEU).
The Netval Association - Network for the Valorization of Research represents the Italian network of Technology Transfer Offices and Third Mission of public research. Established in 2002 as an informal network among 28 universities, it became a legally constituted non-profit Association in 2007. Today, it counts 104 members, including Universities, Public Research Entities, IRCCS – Scientific Institutes for Research, Hospitalization and Healthcare, and other entities operating in the field of promoting innovation and technology transfer.
The launch event will feature the presentation of the new "KS 2.0" platform, discussions on the world of innovation with a focus on research spin-offs, a major highlight of the new version, and networking moments during the standing lunch with closing catering.
