The IUSS School of Advanced Studies of Pavia will take part in the Open Day of the University of Milan, scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2025, at the main campus in via Festa del Perdono 7, Milan.
A full day dedicated to university orientation, featuring information stands and presentations of bachelor’s and single-cycle master’s degree programs, as well as opportunities to meet professors, students, and representatives of the university’s main services.
📍 IUSS will be present with a dedicated stand, where visitors can learn more about the Ordinary Courses, advanced and transdisciplinary study programs that complement the degree programs offered by the University of Milan.
The Ordinary Courses enrich university curricula through activities designed to develop critical thinking and provide high-level scientific training. They are structured into three cycles:
- a three-year first-level cycle for students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree;
- a two-year second-level cycle for students enrolled in a master’s degree;
- a six-year single-cycle program for students enrolled in the integrated master’s degree in Medicine and Surgery.
🎓 At the end of the program, students are awarded the Diploma of Licenza from IUSS, which certifies the achievement of advanced academic competencies. For second-level programs, the diploma carries the legal value of a Level II Master’s degree.
🎓 Students of the Ordinary Courses are enrolled at the University of Milan and are selected on the basis of merit. Admission is free of charge, and they become part of a stimulating and high-level academic community.
🔗 Participation in the Open Day is free but registration is required. To access the stands, take part in the hands-on activities, or attend the presentations, it is necessary to register for each event of interest via the official Open Day platform.
