The Open Day is back at the University of Pavia—an event dedicated to students interested in discovering more about the academic programs, services, and opportunities offered by the Pavia university system.

🕘 The official opening will take place at 9:30 a.m. in Aula Scarpa, with an institutional welcome followed by the opening of the exhibition area.

Throughout the morning, the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS of Pavia will host an information stand, where visitors can collect materials, ask questions, and learn more about the Corsi ordinari, international opportunities, and the system of Collegi di Merito (Merit Colleges).

You’ll discover a unique educational model that complements the University of Pavia’s degree programs with advanced and cross-disciplinary learning paths, designed to foster critical thinking, scientific curiosity, and the ability to tackle complex problems.

The Corsi ordinari are structured as follows:

• First-level three-year program, for students enrolled in a bachelor’s degree;
• Second-level two-year program, for those pursuing a master’s degree;
• Six-year single-cycle program, for the degree in Medicine and Surgery.

📜 Upon completion, the IUSS Diploma of Licenza certifies the acquisition of advanced competencies and, in the case of second-level courses, holds the legal value of a second-level university master’s degree.

💡 Admission is free of charge: IUSS students are selected solely on merit, with no enrollment fees, free accommodation in the Collegi di Merito, and access to a high-level educational path in a stimulating and international environment.
