On Wednesday, May 20, 2026, at 6:30 PM, at the Valhalla Pub, Pavia, Yugin Cho, a PhD candidate at the IUSS School for Advanced Studies Pavia, will give a talk entitled:

“Doctor ChatGPT? Diagnosis, Bias, and the Risks of AI in Medicine”

The talk will focus on the risks and critical issues related to the use of artificial intelligence in the medical field, with particular attention to algorithmic bias, the reliability of AI systems, and the need to promote a critical and informed use of these technologies.

The event is open to all interested participants and is part of Pint of Science 2026, the international festival that brings scientific research to pubs and informal public spaces.

The initiative is supported by the FIS project “Severe Uncertainty: Decisions, Evidence and Probability” (FIS-2023-01696), coordinated by Dr. Luca Zanetti.
