On the afternoon of July 8th, starting at 3:00 PM, the celebrations for the 20th anniversary of IUSS Pavia continued with a programme entirely dedicated to the heart of its academic community. It was a special moment of celebration and sharing, featuring the presentation of the PhD programmes of the Educating Future Citizens (EFC) project Schools, Graduate Talks by recent graduates of the IUSS undergraduate honours programmes, the diploma awarding ceremony, and the presentation of medals to the School's full professors.

An afternoon that united tradition, innovation, and commitment—celebrating both the history and the future of our academic community.

🔹 Presentation of the PhD programmes of the Educating Future Citizens (EFC) project Schools
A moment dedicated to exploring the third-level educational offer promoted by the university Schools participating in the national project Educating Future Citizens. Academic coordinators presented the active doctoral programmes, outlining their objectives, research areas, and opportunities for future PhD candidates.

Several graduates of the IUSS undergraduate honours programmes shared their academic and personal journeys through short, inspirational talks. These reflections highlighted the value of interdisciplinary education and the role of the School in fostering critical and responsible citizenship.

A solemn moment during which students who completed the IUSS undergraduate honours programmes officially received their diplomas, recognising their commitment, the high quality of their academic path, and their engagement in the life of the School.

As a gesture of gratitude and esteem, the School symbolically awarded medals to its full professors who have contributed with passion, dedication, and excellence to shaping the cultural and scientific identity of IUSS—guiding generations of students along the path of knowledge.
