The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has announced the opening of an extraordinary call for 313 curricular internships at Italian diplomatic missions abroad, including Embassies, Consulates, Delegations, and Italian Cultural Institutes.
This exceptional opportunity, aimed at students enrolled in master's degree programs or single-cycle courses, allows them to undertake a high-level educational experience within the international diplomatic context. Interns will be involved in research activities, studies, data analysis, and dossier processing related to each mission's activities, in addition to assisting MAECI personnel in external projection activities.
The call is open until February 26, 2024, at 17:00. The internship period is set from May 13 to August 12, 2024. Interested students must be enrolled in one of the specified degree programs and have acquired a minimum number of university educational credits (CFUs) as specified in the call.
Interns undertaking in-person internships at the assigned location may be eligible for reimbursement of expenses, provided by the IUSS School of Pavia, and may also have access to free accommodation provided by the host mission. Ordinary usage expenses for the period of use will be borne by the interns.
The selection process will involve evaluating applications by a joint MAECI-MUR-Fondazione CRUI Commission. The names of selected candidates will be communicated by Fondazione CRUI to the School, which will inform the winners, who must respond within three working days.
This is an unmissable opportunity for Italian students eager to enrich their educational journey and acquire valuable skills in the international context.
