The IUSS School of Pavia and the Scuola Normale Superiore have issued the POCHI – Proof Of Concept High Innovation Call, inviting proposals from faculty members, researchers, research fellows, doctoral candidates, students, and other research staff employed at each School. The aim is to fund pre-competitive development projects based on business ideas and research results, both in the fields of hard sciences (science, technology, engineering and mathematics – STEM) and in the social sciences and humanities (SSH).

Each project may have a maximum duration of 24 months.

The funding amount for each selected project ranges from a minimum of €10,000 to a maximum of €30,000.

Project submission takes place in two stages:

Step 1 – Pre-application:
Completion and submission of the digital pre-application form for the Call, to be sent no later than 1:00 p.m. on 29 February 2024.

Step 2 – Project Form:
Projects and the corresponding funding requests must be submitted by the Project Leader exclusively through the project form submission procedure, which will be communicated to participants of Step 1. The completed project form must be submitted no later than 1:00 p.m. on 14 April 2024.
