Applications are now open for the “Call for Universities and Research Institutes 2026” of Maker Faire Rome – The European Edition, the international event dedicated to innovation, technology and creativity, taking place from 23 to 25 October 2026 at the iconic Gazometro Ostiense in Rome.

The call is open until 15 June 2026 and is addressed to Universities and Research Institutes willing to showcase innovative projects, prototypes, research activities and academic entrepreneurship initiatives to an international audience of companies, startups, investors, institutions, experts and technology enthusiasts.

Maker Faire Rome offers a unique opportunity to promote research excellence, connect with the innovation community and encourage dialogue among students, researchers, companies and research centres.

The 2026 edition will feature projects focused on artificial intelligence, robotics, IoT, space, agritech, digital manufacturing, sustainability, healthcare, Big Data and many other fields.
