The IUSS School of Advanced Studies Pavia invites you to participate in the #DEIUSS Competition, an initiative that celebrates art as a tool for social change and the promotion of inclusivity.

What are we looking for?

Original artistic works that explore the following themes:

• Diversity and inclusion in study and work environments
• Combating discrimination and violence
• Gender equality and respect for human rights
• Promotion of diversity in all its forms

Accepted formats:

• Visual works: drawings, paintings, photographs
• Audiovisual content: ads, short videos, short films
• Literary creations: poems, short stories

The evaluation committee will assess:

• Artistic quality of the work
• Originality and innovation
• Relevance to the themes of the competition

Who can participate?

Main section (with Prize):

• IUSS students in good standing with their academic plan
• IUSS PhD candidates in good standing with their study plan

Non-competitive section:

• Former IUSS students and PhD graduates who are part of the AlumnIUSS community

What is the Prize?

A budget of €1,500 to be used for:

• Travel expenses for attending conferences, summer schools, etc.
• Registration for conferences, training events, etc.
• Scientific publications and research material
• Any other educational or research-related expense for professional development
