Elections of the Governing Bodies of the IUSS School – 2026 (Academic Senate, Evaluation Committee, Disciplinary Board, STS and SUV Department Council)

Election Results

We are pleased to inform you that the electoral process for the Election of the representatives to the governing bodies of the IUSS Pavia School has been completed. The elections were held on the following dates:

  • 1–2 July 2026
  • 14 July 2026 (second round of voting for the election of the representatives of research fellows and research contract holders to the SUV and STS Class Departments)

Pursuant to Article 11, paragraph 2, of the IUSS School Electoral Regulations, eligible voters may submit an appeal to the Electoral Commission within two working days from the date of publication of the election results.

Voting

Voting will take place electronically on the following dates and times:

  • July 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • July 2, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Votes must be cast online through the U-Vote application, available at the following link: https://uvote2.cineca.it/static/redir.html?idp=samlIusspavia.

The final lists of voters (active electorate) and candidates (passive electorate) have been published on the School's Official Notice Board (Albo della Scuola) via the Decree approving the electorate

Update – 12 June 2026

By Rector's Decree No. 324/2026, the composition of the active and passive electorate of researchers for the election of the representatives of the academic and research staff to the Academic Senate has been amended.

The amending Decree and the updated electoral rolls are available on the School's Official Notice Board.

All deadlines and provisions of Rector's Decree No. 293/2026 remain unchanged, including the deadline for the submission of candidacies, which is set for 22 June 2026 at 12:00 noon (CEST).

By Rector's Decree No. 293 of 4 June 2026, elections were called for the members of the following IUSS Governing bodies:

  • Academic Senate
  • Evaluation Committee (Nucleo di Valutazione)
  • Disciplinary Board
  • Department Council of Science, Technology and Society (STS)
  • Department Council of Human and Life Sciences (SUV)

Election Timeline

Submission of Candidacies

Candidacies must be submitted no later than 12:00 noon (CEST) on 22 June 2026 by completing the dedicated online form.

For non-Italian candidates, the application must be accompanied by a self-declaration certifying proficiency in the Italian language.

The final lists of eligible voters and candidates will be published on the School's Official Notice Board on 24 June 2026.

Candidate Presentation Meetings

Electoral meetings for the presentation of candidates will be held online on the following dates:

in accordance with the schedule and timetable set out in the Election Decree.
