Presentation of the PhD Programme in Science and Technology for Advanced Therapies (STAT) 13 February 2026, Rome
On 13 February 2026, at the headquarters of the National Research Council (CNR), in the G. Marconi Library Hall, the presentation event of the National PhD Programme in Science and Technology for Advanced Therapies (STAT) will take place.The PhD programme is promoted by the IUSS Pavia – University School for Advanced Studies, in collaboration with Fondazione Telethon, the University of Pavia, and Fondazione CNAO. The event, lasting approximately two hours and starting at 11:00 a.m., is addressed to the academic and research community as well as to institutional, scientific and industrial stakeholders interested in contributing to the development of the PhD programme.
Prof. Alfredo Tomasetta (IUSS Pavia) was a guest on Uomini e Profeti on Rai Radio 3 in the episode “Profondo e Vasto,” broadcast on January 3, 2026, and hosted by Felice Cimatti. During the conversation, he explored key themes in philosophy and thought, in line with his research on logic and language. He also presented his book Io e mondo nella filosofia indiana. Due tradizioni di pensiero oltre il canone occidentale (Carocci).
