Winning in Technology – Award Ceremony of the Women in STEM 2025 Call. Among the protagonists: Raffaella Di Micco (IUSS Pavia)
On Monday, October 21, the Assolombarda headquarters in Milan will host the award ceremony of the Women in STEM 2025 Call, an initiative designed to promote excellence and increase women’s participation in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
Among the protagonists, Raffaella Di Micco, researcher at the San Raffaele Telethon Institute for Gene Therapy in Milan and Associate Professor at the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS Pavia, and recipient of a prestigious ERC Grant, will share her experience as a remarkable example of women’s excellence in scientific research.
From 26 to 28 September 2025, the AlumnIUSS community gathered for its first Unconference, turning the Castello di Lardirago and Collegio Ghislieri into spaces of dialogue and inspiration. It was a special weekend where alumni, faculty and friends of IUSS shared experiences and visions, creating new opportunities and strengthening the sense of belonging to the IUSS community. Many thanks to all participants and to Alessandro Fusacchia, creator of the format, for guiding us through an innovative and participatory experience.
