
Biography
PhD candidate in Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology.
Erika Palladino obtained a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at the University of Ferrara with a grade of 110 cum Laude, discussing an experimental thesis entitled: 'Long non-coding RNA as a possible therapeutic target in beta-thalassemia'. The thesis work was carried out in Prof. Borgatti’s Molecular Biology laboratory at the Department of Life Sciences and Biotechnology.
Subsequently, at University of Pavia, Erika obtained a master's degree in Medical and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology with a grade of 110 cum Laude, discussing an experimental thesis entitled: 'Secretome analysis in the Amish model of dominant Osteogenesis Imperfecta' with Prof. Besio supervisor. The thesis work was carried out in Prof. Forlino’s Biochemistry laboratory in the Biochemistry Unit of the Department of Molecular Medicine.
Starting from October 2023, Erika Palladino is enrolled in the PhD program in Biomolecular Sciences and Biotechnology at IUSS and carries out her research activity in the Biochemistry Unit of the Department of Molecular Medicine, University of Pavia.
