
The Festival of Merit is an event organized by Fondazione Collegio Ghislieri, in collaboration with the Meritocracy Forum and the Ubik-Il Delfino Library, and with the patronage of the Municipality of Pavia, Harmenise Harvard Foundation, Fondazione IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo, ISSNAF, University of Pavia. in order to create a forum for discussion around the issues of competence, talent, equality and inclusiveness.
The first edition of the Festival of Merit, takes place between Saturday 21 May and Sunday 22 May. Lectures, debates, workshops, seminars, performances on the theme of Merit that has occupied a growing space in the public debate in recent years.
It starts Saturday, May 21 at 12:30 with the lecture of Elena Cattaneo, Senator for life and biologist, who will intervene in our Aula Magna on merit and knowledge; along with her on stage the same Rector Maranesi. From 14 to 17, in the Goldoniana Hall, the first session of the workshop Evaluation of merit and inclusive teaching, by Maria Elena Gorrini, aimed at teachers of all levels; from 15 to 17 will be opened in the Aula del Caminetto the door of the Forum of Meritocracy, by its president Maria Cristina Origlia, to offer a moment of post-university orientation to undergraduates and recent graduates of all universities.
