Announcement: Open Call for 297 Curricular Internships at Italian Diplomatic and Cultural Institutions. Rachele Lago, IUSS alumna shares her experience | May 28, 2024 at 18:30

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) has announced the opening of applications for 297 curricular internships at diplomatic representations, consular offices, and Italian Cultural Institutes abroad.

To kickstart this significant initiative, IUSS School has organized a presentation event scheduled for May 28 at 18:30 at the IUSS School premises, during which Rachele Lago, an alumna of the Scuola Universitaria Superiore IUSS, will share her testimony and recount her experience during the internship conducted in 2023 at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo.

These internships, running from September 16 to December 16, 2024, will provide students with the opportunity to gain direct knowledge of MAECI's institutional activities abroad. Selected students will be involved in conducting research, studies, analyses, and data processing relevant to the diplomatic missions' activities.

Eligible candidates are students enrolled in master's or single-cycle degree programs at Italian universities adhering to the MAECI-MUR-Italian Universities Convention. Italian citizenship and specific academic and language requirements are necessary for application.

Applications must be submitted exclusively online by June 14, 2024, through the application available on the website http://www.crui.it/tirocini/tirociniwa.

For further information on admission requirements, participating universities, and application procedures, please refer to the full text of the call on the MAECI official website.

This is a unique opportunity for Italian students to enrich their academic journey and gain practical experience in diplomatic and cultural fields abroad.
