297 Curricular Internships at Italian Diplomatic and Cultural Offices. Rachele Lago, IUSS Alumna, Shares Her Experience

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) announced the opening of applications for 297 curricular internships at Italian diplomatic missions, consular offices, and Italian Cultural Institutes abroad.

To kick off this important initiative, the IUSS School organized a presentation event, which took place on May 28 at 6:30 PM at the IUSS School headquarters. During the event, Rachele Lago, an alumna of the IUSS School for Advanced Studies, shared her personal testimony and experience regarding the internship she completed in 2023 at the Italian Embassy in Tokyo.

The internships, which took place from September 16 to December 16, 2024, offered students the opportunity to gain direct knowledge of the institutional activities of MAECI abroad. The selected students were involved in conducting research, studies, analyses, and data processing relevant to the activities of the diplomatic offices.

Eligible to apply were students enrolled in master's degree or single-cycle degree programs at Italian universities that are part of the MAECI-MUR-Italian Universities Convention. Italian citizenship and specific academic and language requirements were required.

Applications were submitted exclusively online by June 14, 2024, through the application platform available on the website http://www.crui.it/tirocini/tirociniwa.
