Tuesday, April 23: Piero della Francesca's Agostinian Polyptych and the Revealed Secrets

On Tuesday, April 23 at 6:30 pm CET, art enthusiasts will have the opportunity to delve into the hidden secrets of Piero della Francesca's masterpiece, the Agostinian Polyptych, during an unmissable online event. Broadcasted on the YouTube channel of Fondazione Bracco, the event is organized in collaboration with the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan, in conjunction with the exhibition "Piero della Francesca. The Reunited Agostinian Polyptych", on display until June 24, 2024.

As the Main Partner of the exhibition, Fondazione Bracco has supported an in-depth campaign of non-invasive diagnostic analysis. This initiative, an integral part of the exhibition path, has allowed exploration of the painting techniques, materials used, and various stages of creation and restoration of the polyptych.

The event will feature the participation of experts in the field, including Isabella Castiglioni from the University of Milano Bicocca, Marco Gargano from the University of Milan, Anna Piccirillo from the "La Venaria Reale" Conservation and Restoration Center, and Christian Salvatore from DeepTrace Technologies, spinoff IUSS.  Moderating the discussion will be Marco Carminati, a journalist and art historian.
