The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships (PF) are individual research fellowships aimed at supporting the training and career development of researchers holding a doctoral degree, through international mobility and in collaboration with one or more Supervisors.
The 2026 call will open on 9 April 2026 and will close on 9 September 2026.
The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowships follow a bottom-up approach: applicants are free to choose their research topic.
Postdoctoral researchers of any nationality may apply for a fellowship and be hosted by a leading research organisation anywhere in the world.
Requirements:
By the application deadline, candidates must have successfully defended their doctoral thesis, even if the degree has not yet been formally awarded.
In addition, by the same date, they must have no more than 8 years of full-time research experience, calculated from the date of completion of the doctoral degree. Periods spent outside research and any career breaks (such as maternity or parental leave) will not be counted towards the 8-year limit.
