Universities, funding for excellence: IUSS reaches €15 million
The IUSS University School for Advanced Studies Pavia continues on its path of growth. As reported by La Provincia Pavese, between 2019 and 2026, funding allocated through the Ordinary Financing Fund (FFO) increased by 214%, rising from €4.7 million to €15 million—the highest increase among Italian university schools for advanced studies.
“We have seen an increase across all components of the FFO, reflecting our overall growth: compared with 2019, the number of our faculty members and researchers has doubled, while the number of PhD students has quadrupled,” says Rector Mario Martina.
