I have obtained my 4-year Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree from University of Cyprus in 2018 in civil and environmental engineering. During the summer between the 3rd and 4th year of bachelor, I interned as a field engineer at a building contractors firm in Cyprus for 2 months. I have, then, obtained my 2-year Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in civil engineering for mitigation of risk from natural hazards - Reduction of Seismic Risk (ROSE) curriculum - jointly in University of Pavia and School of Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia. My master thesis topic was an application of a performance-based direct seismic loss assessment to a case study bridge and investigation on the impact of retrofitting strategies. I enrolled to the PhD programme in Understanding and Managing Extremes (UME) jointly offered by University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia and University of Pavia in 2020.

Performance-based seismic design and assessment of bridge structures. Seismic risk mitigation strategies and risk-oriented design and assessment frameworks.
