Biography
Claudia Cava is an Assistant professor in Computer Science at the Scuola Universitaria Superiore (IUSS) of Pavia. From 2012 to 2022 she was first research fellow and then researcher at the Institute of Bioimaging and Molecular Physiology of the National Research Council (IBFM-CNR). In recent years he was adjunct professor at the University of Milan-Bicocca and Statale. He obtained a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of Sannio in 2013.
His main research activity is carried out in the field of Bioinformatics. His research topics concern (but are not limited to): 1) Development of advanced computational methods and applications for omics data integration; 2) Study of the mechanisms of gene expression regulation; 3) Systems biology approaches for the characterization of biological networks; 4) Development of artificial intelligence methods for big data analysis.
