Serena obtained a Master's Degree in Environmental Monitoring and Recovery at University of Rome La Sapienza (2019). She participated in the European project LIFE "Greenchange" where she worked on the update of the land cover map of the study area and on the ecosystem services assessment, through the photo interpretation of satellite images and the use of the "InVEST" software.
