Stefano Moratti (1980) enrolled in 1999 at the Faculty of Law of the University of Pavia where he was awarded his degree on 19th December 2003 with 110/110 with honours presenting his dissertation on “The taxation of trusts"
While studying law he was admitted to the Superior University School (SUS) established by the University School for Advanced Studies (IUSS) of Pavia. Here he attended a cycle of studies lasting four academic years and won a scholarship for the year 2002/2003. Finally, he achieved the undergraduate certificate of advanced education with honours.
In March 2008, he received his PhD in Tax Law, at the University of Milan - Bicocca, presenting his dissertation on “Tax consolidation”. During his PhD he was admitted to IUSS Advanced School for Integrated Training (SAFI) where he attended courses from 2005 to 2008, won a scholarship for the year 2008 and achieved the certificate of advanced post-graduate education.
He was awarded a research grant from December 2007 to November 2008 at the Department of Public and Territorial Economics of the University of Pavia.
In September 2011, he received his PhD in Political Economics and Law at IUSS presenting his dissertation on “Regulation and Taxation of banking foundations”.
From January 2013 to October 2016 he was Research Fellow (RTDA) in Tax Law at IUSS - Centre for Post-Graduate Training and Research in Understanding and Managing Extremes (UME)
Since November 2016 he has been Assistant Professor (RTDB) in Tax Law at IUSS.
