The call for admission to the National PhD Programme in Science and Technology for Advanced Therapies (STAT) – 41st cycle, academic year 2025/26, is now open.
The programme is coordinated by Professor Annalisa Bonfiglio.

This three-year course is structured into three curricula, as described in the "Educational Programme" attachment:

  • CU1 – Hadron Therapy and Advanced Biophysical Therapies
  • CU2 – Gene and Cell Therapies
  • CU3 – Biomolecular and Biotechnological Sciences

Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Admission is open to candidates holding a Master’s Degree (Laurea Magistrale or Specialistica), a degree awarded under the previous Italian university system, or an equivalent qualification obtained abroad that allows access to PhD programmes in the country of origin and is deemed suitable by the Admission Committee.

Admission is subject to passing the selection process as outlined in the official call for applications issued by IUSS and published on the MUR website.
