Sharper – The European Researchers’ Night is an initiative promoted by the European Commission to bring the general public closer to the world of research and to highlight the fundamental role of researchers in society.

The IUSS School for Advanced Studies Pavia takes an active part in the project, helping transform the “Night” into an opportunity for dialogue and sharing. The aim is to convey the passion, commitment, and tangible impact of scientific research on everyday life, opening spaces for curiosity and exchange with citizens of all ages.

Through workshops, meetings, experiments, and interactive activities, IUSS is committed to making science accessible, engaging, and capable of creating new connections with the community. In this way, Sharper becomes a bridge between universities and society, a tool for public engagement that gives voice to research and brings it beyond academic walls, into the heart of civic life.
