Target Audience: 25 researchers at the beginning of their academic career in the life sciences, willing to learn about key aspects of Technology Transfer. Researchers from Italian Universities or Italian Research Institutes, as well as Italian researchers operating in foreign research institutions; Postdocs/Researchers who have completed their PhD within the last 10 years; PhD students, only from their 3rd year; technicians. Scientific sectors: all disciplines within the life sciences and related applications (e.g., pharmaceutical studies, medicine, chemistry, biotechnology, big data, and machine learning).
Human Technopole’s Centre for Innovation and Technology Transfer (CITT), together with Netval and IUSS Pavia, organise a 5-days full immersion training on Technology Transfer in the Life Sciences.

- Innovation and “third mission” of research public organisations

- IP Protection and valorisation & Technology Transfer tools (IP management/strategy, contracts – NDA, MTA, CRADA, PLA, KHLA)

Day 3 – 22 November (10-13 & 14-17)
- The development phases of a Technology Transfer project | Validation in the Life Sciences (Human and Veterinary Ethics Committees, AIFA/EMA, clinical trials, GxP)
- Case study

Day 4 – 23 November (10-13 & 14-17)
- The valorisation of research through the creation of spin-off or start-up companies
- Case study

Day 5 – 24 November (10-13)
- Presentation of Human Technopole and the MIND Innovation Ecosystem
- Inspirational talks by HT stakeholders
- Visit to the facilities and around the District
