Alberto Monti is Full Professor of comparative law at the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia. He was admitted to the Albo Speciale Cassazionisti e Giurisdizioni Superiori . His research and practice focus on torts, contracts, insurance/reinsurance, banking and financial laws. He holds a JD from the University of Milan, an LLM from NYU Law (Hauser Global Scholar) and a PhD from the University of Trento. Since 2002 he has collaborated with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD, Paris).
Lydia Velliscig is Assistant Professor of comparative law at the University School for Advanced Studies IUSS Pavia. She received her PhD (2010, comparative law) from the University of Milan. She is a member of the Italian Society for Comparative Legal Research (SIRD) and of the International Association for Insurance Law (AIDA) – Lombardia section. Her main research areas are on comparative and European private law and include topics related to insurance law and financial markets law.
