Lorenzo Bianchi Chignoli (Economics), Anna Preda (Medicine) and Cecilia Longo (Political Science) are the three distinguished students of the Scuola Univresitaria Superiore IUSS who have been awarded the prestigious scholarships announced by the Fondazione Ermenegildo Zegna Founder's Scholarship. These scholarships will enable them to undertake post-graduate research and further education abroad.
The scholarship programme is designed to honour the memory of the founder of the Zegna Group, Ermenegildo Zegna, his initiatives, his achievements and the values he transmitted. The Zegna Group finances the programme with funds of up to €1,000,000 per year, divided among particularly deserving students selected from various Italian universities. These students are motivated by the desire to obtain a specialisation abroad in their discipline.
To date, more than four hundred students have benefited from substantial funding, enabling them to take their first steps into international research. The selected talents, after obtaining their specialisation abroad, commit to return to Italy, contributing to the future development of their country.
Thanks to this opportunity, Lorenzo Bianchi Chignoli, Anna Preda and Cecilia Longo will be able to pursue their studies and research in international contexts of excellence, bringing with them the prestige and pride of the IUSS.
